The studio slice is a little late this week but as they say, better late than never.

Excavating for the design HAUS was completed on Monday and right after the digger left( aka the backhoe), Steve was in there putting up the forms. He has since commented several times about how he's starting to feel his age.

Friday morning the building inspector gave us the thumbs up, so in came the concrete truck. We brought in only the best to help with this job, so Steve and his dad, Bill played in the concrete with their new rubber boots!

The foundation is curing and will be ready for the second pour for the curb on Tuesday. Then we will be raising some walls!

Saturday was a great day for studio50. We were involved in the Frederick Street Art walk on 42 Bingeman Street along with another 20 houses en route. We met so many wonderful folks and helped them check off their Christmas lists with some of our studio50 housewares.

Other exciting news for studio50 is our housewares line being carried in the Artisan Zone, located on King Street in Kitchener Ontario. They have just opened their doors this Saturday, so if you are in the area check out this amazing boutique filled with beautiful pieces from Canadian artisans.

We also ran a draw at the art walk for a lucky person to win a studio50 rock bottom vessel!

Winner of that draw is....Valerie

Congratulations!
