Rock Bottom Collection

The Rock Bottom Vessel & the Rock Bottom Tasse

The Rock Bottom Vessel and Rock Bottom Tasse marry the functionality of science-grade glass with the industrial ruggedness of concrete. Every concrete base is individually crafted using various colour and texture techniques nesting its own unique hand-blown glass container, creating a perfect union.

The 1000mL boiling flask can withstand both extreme hot and extreme cold liquids, safely containing soups, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, ice cold water, lemonade, or fun entertaining cocktails. It also holds an entire bottle of wine and acts as a fabulous decanter!

The 250mL is made from the same science-grade glass and our favourite ways to use it are as a coffee creamer, or a salad dressing or gravy dispenser. It could also serve as an individual serving piece for soup, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, water, lemonade, and other beverages.

The concrete base both cradles and supports the glass flask, and serves as a warming or cooling plate. To keep liquids hot, place the concrete base into the oven at 200˚F for 25 minutes before using. Remove with caution! To make sure your beverages stay chilled, place the concrete base into the fridge or freezer. This creates a cold stone that will not melt or dilute your beverages.

The leather on the neck of the flask is hand wrapped and tucked. It is easily removable for washing and simple to re-apply. You to change things up depending on the season or your mood. Wrap it in red for the holidays! Or change it up to sisal twine in the summertime! The opportunities are endless.

You can check out a tutorial on how to re-wrap your flask exists here.

Rock Bottom Base Styles

The energy and flow of the Northern Lights serve as inspiration for the colour movement in the concrete bases, and no two are the same. Rock Bottom Vessels are available in four base styles:

  1. The Stratus Base is defined by its 3 tiered layered colouring, creating a black to white ombre effect. Square base only.
  2. The Gaia base is defined by the use of earth tones. Predominantly gray with touches of a rusting effect, bug-holes and mottled raw sienna, burnt umber, bronze, and raw black flowing throughout. Square base only.
  3. The Parchment Base is defined by the circular shape and antique parchment colour.
