keep calm and carry on - pallet tray makers workshop -
May 17, 20131 min read
What an inspiring evening with a very creative group of ladies who gathered together to partake in the studio's first makers workshop.
It was a night full of laughs, insight, solutions, some sweat, a few blisters and good company( and of course food!).
A menu of raw chocolate assortments, fresh bread and spreads with cheeses, kept all the makers nourished for the evening. Coffee, tea and lots of water were consumed to keep everyone hydrated through the screwing of the pallets...Yes, pallets do have 50 shades.
The makers brought custom flare to their project and each pallet tray highlights their individual talent to make something uniquely theirs.
Thank you makers, for being patient and encouraging. There is nothing better than being surrounded by open minds, eager hands and positive energy.
CREATIVITY INVOLVES BREAKING OUT OF ESTABLISHED PATTERNS
Ever wondered what the difference is between cement and concrete? Well, maybe not...but here at Studio50, concrete is an everyday thing. It’s not unusual to hear the two terms used interchangeably, but they are definitely two very different things.
