    Sunday Share | August

    Where is the summer going?

I can't believe it's already the middle of August, and soon the calendar will flip to September.

But, there are still some hot summer days ahead, and to stay cool and refreshed, I've discovered rose water - and it's just so simple.

    Here's what you'll need:

    • A small spritz bottle (I found a glass one in the kitchen section at HomeSense)
    • A bottle of rose water (available in the international section of your grocery store.)

Use it on your face in the morning as a toner and gentle wake-up, and then throughout the day whenever you need a soft, fragrant pick-me-up.

To explore all the benefits of rose water, including its anti-aging properties, headache relief, and even digestive aid, check out this article.

The other thing I've been doing to make the most of August is harvesting edible flowers and adding them to my Rock Bottom decanter!

This is such an easy way to elevate your water, sangria, or bottle of wine. Type in Edible Flowersfor an online search and you will be amazed how many there are! Here's on site to explore.

And while you're outside taking in the summer evening and sipping your floral beverage tune into this Icelandic singer and musician I love listening to, Laufey.

Here's to slowing-down, savouring and soaking up the rest of August!

    Until next time my dear.
