I was thrilled when a friend asked me to do a commission piece to fill a large wall space in the front foyer of their home.  6 feet for the height and about 1 foot wide was the set criteria.  The rest was left to my artistic freedom

The result is this organic layered piece displaying an array of textures and grains from pallet wood,
except for one piece. The smallest of the assortment boasts "virgin plywood" and as my friend pointed out, appears to be announcing its presence visually and physically. Instantly a conversation piece.

Constructed like the skidsaw table top, with wood biscuit jointed together and then captured and secured in a welded steel frame.

Delivered and  hanging up I'm looking forward to seeing it in it's new home.
