Steve and  I thought we'd share a recap of our week in the studio and give you a glimpse of some of the highlights. The new studio50 web site, was launched this week which has received great feedback from many a folk.  So thank you, for taking the time to give us a little pat on the back.  We're not afraid to admit that we like a few words of affirmation from time to time. WIN THIS | tisch board contest posted on the studio's facebook page has had amazing response. If you haven't liked our facebook page to enter the draw, don't worry, you still have time.  The winner will be announced on October 30th. "Build it and they will come." Steve has been busy drafting up drawings that have been submitted to the building department in town.  If all goes well and not too much red ink is added to the pages,  we will be breaking ground for our studio50 Design HAUS, in 2 weeks!  It will be over 500 square feet of urban styled loftiness to showcase our pieces available for purchase and provide a space to meet with clientele to discuss and design commissioned pieces. plans3 This weekly studio slice will give us an opportunity to share the progress of this building project with you all! Several new handle boards. block boards and tisch boards were sculpted,  and are available for purchase at the studio.  We will also have a full selection at the Fredrick Art Walk on November 9th in Kitchener and at our open house, here at the studio on Nov. 30th and Dec. 1st. A new style as been added to the board family...the primitive tisch board, which is a rugged and round design. cutting boards photo studio slice oct 18 Now, these 2 boards are collector items, my friends.  They are the first official handle boards made by Steve! I love the cherry one. It looks like a horse breathing fire. What do you think? Every board speaks differently to each individual. steve's first boards Enjoy this beautiful fall weather and we will post our next studio slice next week, same time and place. Cheers kim and steve
