Now available at studio50 HAUS
When we craft something out of wood at the studio for the purpose of food preparation or serving, like our wooden cutting boards, or trenchers we season the wood with a mix of coconut oil and beeswax.
Makers who come and experience the cutting board workshop are given a small jar of the mix to apply to their boards when they have completed their projects and a little extra to take home along with a magnetic label to attach to their fridge with care suggestions to clean and keep their boards looking rich and lovely.
We are now offering seasoning kits in our studio50 HAUS of the oil and beeswax.
The seasoning kit consists of : 500ml glass jar of Expelled Organic Coconut Oil
1/4 lb bag of Pure Beeswax Chips
Cost of kit : 10.00$
