Along the beautiful shores of Lake Erie at Long Point, our awesome clients have built their dream cottage. It is a haven for friends and family to rejuvenate and visit. We were asked to design a large dining table that would capture the serenity and uniqueness of their beautiful space while, accommodating their entertaining needs. The table is built from solid walnut and measures 7'5"l x 44"w. The table top is constructed with live-edge boards on both sides to give it the raw, organic feel that we are so passionate about. The legs are stabilized with this beautiful trestle, showcasing the gorgeous detailing of the wood grain.
One of the most rewarding parts about working with hardwoods, such as walnut, are the textural surprises we find within the natural grains. The placement of the table’s trestle is specifically positioned low so people can rest their beach-tired feet, sit back, and soak in the outdoor landscape. It was such a pleasure working with our new clients and we are in love with this table's new home! We hope it serves as a centerpiece for happy memory making for years to come.
