Not just sitting around here eating chocolate.

We are busy getting ready to launch our first workshop in a few weeks, and the studio is taking shape.   Pictures of the studio space will be posted very soon.

As for the Seating...industrial grade style.

Our makers will be parking it in comfort.

We've custom designed and welded up a batch of counter height stools with 1" steel square tubing, ergonomic curved seats and the perfect foot bar to rest your tootsies.

The steel was left unpolished but waxed.

As for the tops.  We got out the 24" echo, echo, ecchhooo...and made use of the nice weather on the weekend.  Rolled out 2 walnut stumps that we've had drying, attached the custom fence that Steve welded up, and cut us up some beautiful 2" thick boards that will be fitted for the stool tops.

The sides of the wood will be left with the live edge.  Why mess with perfection.
